VRAAGGESPREK MET DIRIGENT ALBERT VAN RAALTE (DIR.RADIO FILHARMONISCH ORKEST). 00:00:00 Inleiding over programma's die Herr. Nederland wil gaan brengen. Eerste dirigent van het Orkest is van Raalte. Van Raalte: Hoe hij het orkest heeft geformeerd sedert 26 juni '45. Het Gooi was een muziekcentrum geworden. Oorlog sloeg bressen in orkesten. Kern van oude getrouwen aangevuld. Resultaat der bezetting van het orkest is bevredigend. Samenstelling Strijkorkest uit 60 man (muzikaal fragment ter illustratie) Hout- en blaasinstrument viervoudig bezet. Totaal 100 man waar onder enkele vrouwen met één harpiste Roza Spier. Van Raalte al 33 jaar in muziek. Dank zij van Leer in staat geweest in oorlogstijd Joods Orkest samen te stellen. Velen daarvan zijn de dans ontsprongen en nu ook in Phil. Harm. Orkest opgenomen. Fragment uit IV (of Italiaanse Symphonie) van Mendelssohn.
English: The collection of Broadcasts from Radio Herrijzend Nederland (Radio 'The Netherlands Revived') contains a selection of the radio broadcasts that were transmitted between 1944 and 1946. They were broadcasted by the military authorities from Eindhoven after its liberation in September 1944, to encourage and inform the people of the still occupied north of the Netherlands. After the liberation it continued to broadcast untill January 1946. This digitized audio file is a so called semi-finished product. During digitization an attempt was made to get as much detail from the original source as possible. This can sometimes mean that there is still a need for post-production to get the best possible end-product for human consumption.
